What's on tap in March
Posted on Feb 27, 2018
Greetings Heroic Beer Drinkers!
Imperial Knight in bottles!
We now have a 5th beer in bottles! Imperial Knight is available in 22 oz bottles for $7.
70 ibu, 9% abv Imperial Knight is a Russian Imperial Stout which uses a magnificent amount of hops to balance out the deep, dark, and roasty malt bill. Clocking in at 9% abv this beer is much like an Imperial Soldier: big, strong, and complex. Good to the last drop with a smooth and mellow finish.
We are starting a new discount. Every night till 9 there will be one beer that is $1 off. How will we decide? Our first guest will roll our 20 sided die and the number rolled will determine the style. Since we have 16 styles not 20 we will have other fun options for the last 4 numbers. Stop in to join in on the fun!
Ash Kickin' Ale
We kegged Ash Kickin' Ale today! As you may recall, last month we had some help from the Austintown Professional Fire Fighters Local 3356 in brewing a special beer. While this is a limited release, we made a pretty good sized batch so that everyone can have a taste. We will be serving it here in our tavern beginning March 7th at 5 pm. Some of the firefighters will be on hand here at Paladin on 3/7 and 3/8 around 5 pm, so please come on out, meet these men and women, shake their hand, and thank them for the support they provide in our community.
Proceeds from sale of this beer will benefit Austintown Professional Fire Fighters Local 3356. We will also be sending some to O'Donold's and Suzie's Dogs and Drafts locations after we tap the first keg in our tavern. Local firefighters will be serving Ash Kickin' Ale at the huge St. Patty's Day party at O'Donolds on 3/17!
We have many reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook and Untappd. Mostly very positive and we so appreciate the time you have all taken to give us feed back and help other people to know about our Tavern. We have now been informed we are also on Trip Advisor!
Currently we only have two reviews and would love to end up with 40 reviews and become the number one thing to do in Austintown. Can you help us reach our goal??
Kelli Cooking on Fridays
Kelli is cooking on Fridays all this month. We recommend a small donation of your choosing to cover her costs. Our customers have been raving about her food, and we look forward to seeing what she has planned!
March 9 - 3rd Annual Youngstown Craft Beer Fest
Held in the huge heated tent at O'Donolds in the Austintown Plaza, this event benefits Every Dog Matters Rescue. Quite a few breweries will be represented, and Abby will be on hand pouring Paladin! Check out the Facebook link for ticket information. https://www.facebook.com/events/546846619008223
March 15 - The Rising Tide Society
The Rising Tide Society is a group of creative entrepreneurs who meet monthly in the spirit of community over competition & lifting one another up in their businesses. They will be meeting here at Paladin on March 15th at 6 pm to discuss Accounting, Finances, and Preparing Taxes. All are welcome to come even if you are not a member!
March 17 - St. Patrick's Day
Our friends at O'Donold's have Ohio's largest St. Paddy's Day Party planned with their giant tent and bands all day, but if you are looking for a more low key indoor celebration this St. Patrick's Day, come on by the tavern. We may even have some green food coloring you could play with!
March 28 - Boozy Boardgame Night
Join us March 28 from 7 to 10 pm for a Boozy Boardgame Night with Crystal Dragon Games! This game night will feature top titles including Lanterns, Happy Salmon, Wits and Wagers, Escape, and a selection of games from the Crystal Dragon library. Attendees are welcome to bring their own board games and their friends! Click this link to check out Crystal Dragon Games.
Our son Luke’s baseball league is selling Scrappers tickets for $8 (normally $10 and the little league gets $4 of each ticket sold!). Tavern guests can buy the tickets at the brewery. We'll have baseball tickets in hand sometime in March, so any preorders can be picked up later this month. We will be selling tickets through May. Our goal is 200.
The players who sell the most tickets get really cool experience prizes, like batting practice with the team and being able to throw the first pitch.
Anyone who buys a ticket will be entered to win a prize pack from Paladin Brewing as our thank you for helping out our son! We will draw at the beginning of May.
We've got a lot of space, and you're welcome to use it for your events, including graduation parties, bridal showers, and even weddings. Call Abby to schedule at 330-272-1494. No charge if we are already open, $25 an hour if not during our normal business hours.
As always, thank you for your of patronage and friendship. Our customers are the BEST! Hope to see you soon!
John and Abby Chandler
