Privacy Policy

This policy covers paladinbrewing.com, run by Paladin Brewing, 6520 Mahoning Ave. (Rt. 18), Austintown, OH 44515. It does not cover our online merch store or other sites we link to (see “Other sites” below).

What we collect

You can browse this site without giving us anything. We only get personal information when you choose to send it:

• Accounts. Your email address, a password and the display name you choose. Passwords are handled by our login provider and stored in scrambled (hashed) form; we never see them.
• Ratings and reviews. The stars and any note you leave on a beer or dish. These are public and shown with your display name, never your email.
• The contact form. Your name, email, phone number if you add it, and your message.
• The event request form. Your name, phone number, email if you add it, and your event details: the type of event, date and time, number of guests, and your food plan.
• The Mug Club waitlist. Your first and last name, email, and phone number if you add it.
• Your account choices. Your name and phone number if you add them, which emails or texts you want, and your favorite events.
• Mug Club membership. If you’re a member: your club (Mug Club or Mini Mug Club), mug number and the year you’re paid through.

We also collect some information automatically: our analytics tool records things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and what device and browser they use (see “Analytics and cookies”). Like any website, our host also keeps short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

• To run your account and show your reviews.
• To answer your messages and event requests, and to manage the Mug Club waitlist.
• To see which pages people use, so we can improve the site.
• To keep one customer record: what you send through our forms is kept together with your account, matched by your email address.
• To send you the emails or texts you ask for.
• To keep the site secure and block spam.

We do not sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties, unless required by law.

Emails and texts

We only send marketing emails or texts to people who ask for them, when they sign up or on their account page. We save each choice with the date and the exact wording you agreed to. You can change your choices any time on your account page.

To get texts, you need a phone number saved on your account page. Texts: message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Who else handles it

A few services run parts of this site for us:

• Supabase stores the site’s data and handles logins: accounts, reviews, contact messages, event requests and the waitlist.
• Resend delivers what you send through our forms to our staff by email.
• The iM Agency, the company that builds and runs this website for us, keeps a backup copy of form submissions so a message is never lost if an email fails.
• Vercel hosts the website and checks form submissions for automated spam.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used.
• Google Maps powers the map on our Directions page. Google may collect information when that map loads.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses two kinds:

• Login cookies keep you signed in. They’re only set when you log in, and the account features don’t work without them.
• Google Analytics cookies tell visits apart so we can count them. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on, and the site still works.

We don’t use advertising cookies or retargeting.

Other sites

Our merch is sold through our separate online store at shop.paladinbrewing.com, which handles checkout and payment under its own terms. Links to Google, Facebook, Instagram and other sites take you somewhere with its own privacy policy.

Your choices

• You can change your display name and password on your account page, and delete any review you’ve left.
• To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and information deleted, contact us (below) and we’ll take care of it.

Kids

Families are welcome at the tavern, but this website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
